Tweed Salmon Fishings

No booking is made in any way until payment (including any VAT) is received in full. On telephone request, bookings can be held, but only for three working days, after which, if payment is not received, the hold is automatically dropped.
Payments can be made by cheque or debit card (both free) or credit card (2% surcharge). Bookings for dates up to 4 weeks away must be paid for by card.
Bookings are taken strictly on a first come first served basis. Cheques for unsuccessful applications will not be banked, and can be returned on request.
VAT is payable on all rents at the rate in force on the date of booking. Horncliffe, West Learmouth, Lennel, Lower Pavilion and Ravenswood do not charge VAT.
No refunds will be made after booking, if you subsequently decide not to come. However, if requested, I will try to sublet them for you, subject to my own clients' priority, a small charge, and the risk remaining with you in the unlikely event of failure.
Nobody may sublet these fishings without my permission and then only by private arrangement at the same prices and conditions as are contained in these particulars. No agent, other than myself, may be used to help obtain a sublet.
Once a day has started, no rod may be swapped or shared without my written permission, although someone different can fish the next day, if you have booked it and you tell the gillie in advance.
In line with general fishing practice, no refunds will be made if the weather or river conditions spoil your sport.
Any complaints regarding the standard of service provided by the beats must be made to me immediately they occur and not left until after you have gone home. This gives me a chance to persuade the owners to put things right there and then, so that you can still enjoy the remainder of your fishing.
